In less than a minute, Maspero Elevatori’s panoramic inclined lift connects Peripatos (an ancient road located at the foot of the Acropolis) with the Erechtheion (or Erechtheum),the temple of the Caryatids on the north side of the Acropolis.
The lift, with a change of inclination ranging from 38 to 78 degrees, has a capacity of 1250 kgs and can carry up to 16 people or 2 weelchairs and a companion to travel with each of them.
This special installation has been designed to be able to transport even a stretcher with an operator, in case of emergency.
The panoramic cabin and landing doors are made of completely transparent stratified glass, offering the passengers a unique view.
