Paris – Porte D’Orleans. Automatic inclined elevator, 9 one-sided stops, 60 m of travel, constant inclination 25 °, range 630 kg. A cabin that assaults a monumental facade: an inclined elevator in a very complicated environment at the university in Paris. The runway, like a river, seems to dig a riverbed in the building, so much that it creeps into the spaces, making its way. Like an artery, it runs between the floors, pulsating with life; blood and oxygen that feed the man-made city. A challenge. Won.
